An Enrolled Agent (EA) is a licensed tax professional who has demonstrated technical expertise in the field of taxation. EAs advise, represent, and prepare tax returns for individuals, LLCs, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts, and any entities with tax-reporting requirements. They are empowered by the U.S. Treasury Department to represent taxpayers before all administrative levels of the IRS for audits, collections, and appeals.

The firm offers income tax preparation, audit representation, tax planning, bookkeeping, and payroll services to individuals and small businesses.

The firm is continuing to limit in-person client meetings and encourages clients to provide tax documents through drop off, US mail, or through the electronic portal. Phone conferences and video meetings are used when necessary.

The firm does not sell or rent nonpublic personal information or tax information to anyone without permission. They do not share personal information for promotional or marketing purposes. They maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations.

Fox Accounting & Tax has been furnishing tax preparation, bookkeeping and payroll services since 1993.

Connie J. Fox is the owner and founder of Fox Accounting and Tax Services, Inc. She earned a degree in accounting from Portland State University in 1987, worked as a Revenue Agent for the IRS, and has been a member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the Oregon Association of Tax Consultants.

Scott Mobley-Schreibman is an Enrolled Agent who became a licensed tax preparer in 2013 and an EA in 2014. He previously worked as a journalist and literature teacher before moving to Portland in 2011.
